We've moved people into just about every corner of town, from Old Town bungalows to the newer builds up toward Paradise Valley.
A lot of Yucca Valley moves aren't house-to-house at all: they're storage shuffles. With the storage lots strung along Highway 62 and Old Woman Springs Road, we spend plenty of mornings emptying a 10×20 into a new place — or packing one tight enough that you stop paying for a second unit.
We know the gate hours and lane widths at the storage places along 62 and 247. Tell us the facility and unit size and we'll tell you how long the load takes before we start the clock.
Homesteads out toward Flamingo Heights and Landers often mean a mile of washboard. We slow down, strap double, and have never lost a dresser to Old Woman Springs Road.
Coming up from the valley you climb about 3,000 feet. Loads shift on the 62 grade if they're packed loose — ours aren't, and that's half the reason people call us instead of renting a truck.
No. The clock starts when we reach your door and stops when the last piece is placed. Travel fees only apply when we leave the hi-desert.
Often, yes — we're based here, so if the truck is free we can be loading within the hour. Call first thing in the morning for the best shot.
All the time. We'll meet you at the gate, load straight from the unit, and if you're downsizing we can run a second stop to the thrift store or the dump.
