Piano and safe moving is specialty heavy-item work — uprights, spinets, baby grands and full grands, plus gun and home safes up to about 600 pounds — padded, strapped and carried with a crew sized for the stairs.
A piano is the one piece in the house that can't be replaced at the outlet. We move every kind and size: uprights and spinets on a piano board, baby grands and full grands with the legs off, the lid padded and the body wrapped so the finish arrives the way it left.
Safes are the other job people call about. Up to roughly 600 pounds we handle them with the same gear and the same rule: enough hands for the stairs, never a guess. Anything heavier, tell us the weight and we'll be honest about whether it's ours.

How it works
Three steps- 01
Tell us what it is
Upright, grand, or safe — and the weight if you know it. Photos of the stairs, doorways and the path to the truck let us size the crew right.

We prep and wrap
Grands come apart at the legs; uprights go on a board. Everything is padded, then strapped to the dolly before it moves an inch.
- 03
Carried, placed, leveled
Extra hands take the stairs slowly. At the new place it lands where you want it, and grands are reassembled on the spot.

Piano & safe moving FAQDo you move grand pianos?
Yes — baby grands and full grands. We remove the legs and lyre, pad and wrap the body, and move it on its side on a skid. Reassembly is part of the job.
How heavy a safe can you move?
Up to about 600 pounds with our regular gear and crew. Heavier than that, tell us the exact weight and the stairs involved and we'll say yes or no honestly.
Can a piano ride with the rest of my move?
Yes. Most piano jobs are part of a full household move — we just add the board and the extra hands for that piece. Stand-alone piano moves are quoted flat.
