Morongo Valley sits in the canyon where Highway 62 climbs out of the Coachella Valley, which makes it the town every mover drives through and almost none of them know. We do — it's fifteen minutes from our yard, and we've moved folks into canyon homes, horse properties off East Drive, and cabins tucked up against the Sand to Snow monument.
The move itself is usually the easy part here. The grade is the thing: anything leaving or entering Morongo Valley rides a long 6% climb where a loosely packed load rearranges itself. We pack like the hill is personal, because for us it kind of is.
The climb between Morongo Valley and the valley floor is where rental-truck moves go wrong. We strap every tier to the rails and pad-wrap what touches — nothing walks, nothing tips.
The San Gorgonio Pass funnels serious wind into the canyon. On a gusty day we tarp and wrap before anything crosses the driveway, and mattresses never sail off into the neighbor's yard on our watch.

We do — it's 15 minutes from our Yucca Valley yard, so you get hi-desert rates without the 'remote area' surcharge the down-valley companies like to add.
Yes. Welders, compressors, feed bins, tractors' worth of attachments — if two strong men and a ramp can load it, it goes on the truck with everything else.
Not for ours. The 26-footer runs that hill weekly. It's a problem for loosely packed rentals — which is exactly why people hire us instead.
