Moving in Palm Springs

How it goes here

Palm Springs moves come with homework. Condo complexes want a certificate of insurance before the elevator gets padded, HOAs have move-in windows, and half the furniture is mid-century pieces worth more than the truck. We do this run from the hi-desert almost daily, and we show up with the COI sent, the wrap ready, and a healthy respect for teak.

The other Palm Springs specialty is the pickup run: a credenza from the Uptown Design District, a chair from one of the consignment houses, an estate-sale haul from a Deepwell ranch house.

What we know

Palm Springs specifics

Mid-century furniture, handled properly

Blanket-wrap comes standard, corners get double-padded, and nothing rides unwrapped. We've moved Eames-era pieces out of Twin Palms and Movie Colony homes without a scuff — the finish matters and we treat it that way.

Condo and HOA paperwork, sorted

Many Palm Springs complexes require a certificate of insurance and a reserved elevator slot. Tell us the building when you book and we'll email the COI before move day — no standing in the lobby arguing with a property manager.

Snowbird season scheduling

October through May the valley fills up and move dates go fast. Seasonal residents: book your arrival or departure a couple of weeks out and we'll hit the exact day your place is ready.

“We couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and genuine kindness of the gentleman that helped us move from Santa Ana to Palm Springs. Josh and Fabio were a class act. They loaded, transported and delivered our belongings with care and caution. Once in Palm Springs they had 2 more workers help unload our belongings since it ended up being a really long day and the move went into the late evening. They knew we were tired and just wanted to get settled in. We were so thankful they did this. William and Raul were a great addition to the moving team. If you are looking for a mover, don’t hesitate with Two Strong Men and a Truck. We are so glad we chose them!”

Palm Springs FAQ
My Palm Springs condo requires a COI. Can you provide one?

Yes — we're licensed and insured, and we'll email a certificate of insurance naming your HOA or management company before move day. Just give us the building's requirements when you book.

Do you handle small moves for seasonal residents?

All winter long. Partial loads, a few rooms, storage in or out — the three-hour minimum keeps small snowbird moves affordable, and we can coordinate with your property manager if you're not in town yet.
